On January 9, 2025, EIACP RP-Forest Research Institute, Dehradun organized a drawing competition as part of "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign, for underprivileged children in slum areas along the Bindal river, Dehradun. The initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of planting trees and inspire young minds to contribute to environmental conservation. Around 25 children enthusiastically participated, showcasing their creativity and understanding of the theme. To encourage and support their efforts, stationery kits were distributed to all participants.
