ENVIS RP on Forestry and Forest Related Livelihoods

 Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, EIACP Programme Centre at the ICFRE-Forest Research Institute, Dehradun, organized a seminar on “Role of Women in Conservation of Environment” with the women staff and research scholars of ICFRE - FRI. In this event, a welcome address was given by Dr. Manisha Thapliyal, Scientist-G, FRI. Dr. Renu Singh, IFS, Director FRI; Mrs. Meenakshi Joshi, IFS, Principal CASFoS and Mrs. Kusum Kandwal, Chairperson, Uttarakhand State Commission for Women, share their vast experience in the field of environmental conservation and the role of women in sustainable development.
