On 2nd February 2024, Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of India, EIACP Programme Centre at ICFRE-Forest Research Institute, Dehradun celebrated World Wetlands Day 2024 and concluded its 5 days series of events by organizing a drawing/poster-making competition on this year’s theme: “Wetlands and Human Wellbeing”, with the students of KV-FRI, Dehradun. The participants were briefed about the ecological importance of wetlands and the newly added Ramsar sites of India.
