Mission LiFE Awareness Workshop at St.Teresa School, Kaulagarh, Dehradun

FRI EIACP (Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Programme) Resource Partner on Forestry and Forest Related Livelihoods serves as a one-stop platform for dissemination of environmental information, informed policy formulation on various facets of the environment, and facilitation of alternate livelihoods through green skilling. To raise awareness on Mission LIFE, the FRI EIACP Resource Partner on “Forestry and Forest related Livelihood” conducted an awareness workshop with the school students of St. Teresa School, Kaulagarh, Dehradun on August 25, 2023.

The event started with an awareness workshop session on ‘Mission LiFE’ with special reference to the theme ‘Save Water’. The awareness session was done as an interactive session where the students also shared their experiences. Lastly, a special interactive session was done by the EIACP Team with the school students on disasters, their types, causes and prevention. This session helps them understand the present scenario related to landslides, flash floods, etc., with clarity, which is also the need of the hour. The questions and curiosity of the students made the awareness session successful.
