Van Mahotsav was celebrated in the premises of Forest Research Institute, Dehradun on 22-7-2021. Chief Guest Shri S.D. Sharma, Dy. Director General (Research), I.C.F.R.E. addressed the gathering and planted the sapling the Litchi. He specially mentioned that trees are valuable wealth and it is moral duty of people to protect and conserve the forest for healthy environment.
On this occasion Mrs. Kanchan Devi, Dy. Director General (Education), Sh. Deepak Mishra, Secretary from ICFRE, Shri R.P. Singh, Head Silviculture and Management Division, Mrs Richa Mishra, Head Extension Division and all Heads of Division, Scientists, Officers, Coordinator and staff of ENVIS Resource Partner, FRI participated in plantation programme.
