The 'International Day of Forests' on Monday, observed by the Forest Research Institute, Dehradun to raise awareness of the importance of forests and trees in ensuring the sustainability of ecosystems. The theme of this year was Forests and Water. ENVIS Centre on Forestry participated in an exhibition, conducted on this occasion.
