Android App for Bhuvan
Bhuvan on Smart Phones with Enhanced Features and Easy Mapping
Indian Space research Organization (ISRO) has launched the Android App for Bhuvan namely BhuvanPOI_v1.1 which allows mapping the Neighborhood in the easy and intuitive manner using smart phones. Bhuvan, is a software application which allows users to explore a 3D representation of the surface of the Earth; the project is developed by ISRO.
ISRO has used data provided by satellites including Resourcesat-1, Cartosat-1 and Cartosat-2 to get the best possible imagery of India. Bhuvan on its portal provides a range of services enabling visualization of various thematic data generated from myriad national missions and projects carried out by NRSC.
